In a challenging quarter, Westlife Foodworld, the operator of McDonald’s, saw a staggering 52% drop in profits due to soaring energy, labor, and raw material costs affecting their operations. The need to offer discounts to stay competitive against smaller rivals also took a toll on their profitability. Despite this, the company reported a consolidated profit after tax of 5.9 million rupees, while revenue rose to 7.
