Pernod Ricard’s Bengaluru plant was inspected by India’s food safety regulator, with officials collecting liquor samples and seeking documents as part of heightened scrutiny of the country’s alcohol sector. Sources said the company was asked to improve hygiene and correct recycled-plastic markings, though no adverse findings have been issued against Pernod.
